We recently had a big lake that overflowed during a hard rain and one of the sides gave out. The water went rushing into a small village called Ejido de Mora. Our church put together a small team of people to help! Please pray for Ejido de Mora.
What did we do to help?
When we went down to Ejido de Mora we handed out care packages. They had toilet paper and food. Also a couple extra things as in clothes and other needs they had. I was honored to be part of the team helping. The smiles were priceless.
This is hard to take in.
Just imagine the story behind these backpacks. Just imagine yourself sitting with your kid eating ice cream and you see a huge wave of water coming. You don't even have time to grab your bags, you have to leave them so you can get to safety.
